Daryl Yurek, with the help of his negotiation skills, facilitated Destron’s acquisition of IDI Corp, a company based in Boulder, Colorado, in the USA. Their joint focus was on developing implantable transponder (RFID) technology for animal identification and card access, which quickly became a global standard. Daryl Yurek secured nine distributor contracts around the world and a manufacturing partnership with Hughes Aircraft Corp, which led to a licensing agreement for the card access business. The distributors  included Rhone Poulenc, The Milk marketing board of England and Whales, Shiring Plow, Kubota and Hitachi Seiki. Daryl Yurek’s exceptional negotiation skills played a significant role in achieving these outstanding results.

Furthermore, Destron invested extensively in product development and improved its RFID microchip manufacturing capabilities. Finally, under Daryl Yureks leadership, the company went public via a cross-border IPO and raised over $25 million for the business.
